LinkedIn’s Top Voice badge is often considered the holy grail for creators. It comes in two types: the blue Top Voice badge, which I received, and the yellow Top Voice Expert badge. The path to earning the blue badge remains a mystery, while the yellow badge is based on contributions to LinkedIn's Expert Series. There are rumors that both badges might soon be discontinued.
In this post, I won’t claim to know the official route to the blue badge—there’s no public information about it. However, I can share my journey and what helped me get there in just 8 months.

What helped me earn LinkedIn’s Blue Top Voice Badge
Here’s what I focused on to achieve this milestone:
I showed up every day: Consistency made a big difference. Even on days when engagement was low, I kept posting.
I shared authentic insights: My content was a reflection of my real-life experiences. I was honest about both the successes and the failures.
I experimented: Not every post worked, and that was okay. I learned from each one and adjusted as I went along.
I engaged with my network: It wasn’t just about posting. Meaningful conversations in comments and messages helped me build deeper connections.
I focused on adding value: I made sure each post served a purpose—whether it was sharing insights, advice, or lessons learned.
