Becoming a LinkedIn Top Voice in just eight months felt surreal. Tripling my followers and joining the top 1% of creators worldwide in less than a year? Even more so. But here’s the reality behind the milestones: it took more than luck—it took strategy, effort, and resilience.

2024 by the numbers:

  • Named LinkedIn Top Voice in 8 months.

  • Ranked in the top 1% of creators globally.

  • Tripled my followers in another 8 months.

  • Ranked #39 in NL’s Top 50 creators overall.

  • Posted 235 times, with 1M+ impressions and 38K comments.

Consistency wins. Showing up changes everything. Real impact takes resilience—not shortcuts.

"Easy for you," they say. Sure, I’ve been a ghostwriter for 20+ years. Sure, I’m a digital marketer by trade. But it wasn’t a walk in the park. It was showing up daily, learning, failing, and growing.

Behind the numbers:

  • Daily content? → A side hustle with heart.

  • Vanity metrics? → Conversations that matter.

  • Growth? → Messy, nonlinear, and never guaranteed.

  • Internet fame? → Impressions boosting, not overnight success.

Numbers only tell half the story. What really matters is the impact of showing up and connecting with people who care about what you create.

Lessons from 2024 and plans for 2025

2024 showed me that growth isn’t linear.

It’s messy, unpredictable, and sometimes feels like a losing game.

But stepping out into the unknown is where the magic begins.

2025 will be about diversification.

New platforms. New skills. New adventures.

And most importantly, more time spent creating what truly matters.

Let’s make it a year to remember—together.
